Kid Sister in Fan Tan Alley

A big thank you at all of our readers of the first post. It was way more than we expected.  If we get that many readers again, Daddy promised to up grade to the fancy WIX.com website. Much cooler. We also thought we should give a proper rating with actual scores. It will still be out of 10, but on an average in the following categories.

Flavour: In this category we give opinions about actual taste and about selection. Brownie points for vegan and weird flavours.

Service/location: We can get ice cream anywhere. When we go to a craft ice cream shop, we expect something more. Friendly service, a cool atmosphere, an actual experience. Recycled napkins are a plus.

Cone/presentation: The cone is important to ice cream. So is portion and visual prettiness.

Selection: If we just wanted vanilla we would go to some place with two letters. Weird and creative flavours are a must.

Today, as we mentioned in last weeks post, we went to Kid Sister ice cream shop. I ordered the lemon meringue flavor in a waffle cone. The ice cream was surprisingly, really good. Sometimes with more bold flavors such as this one, they can taste a little fake as you could s
ay. This one was very close to the name. The lemon meringue was very nice I would recommend

Flavours: They had all kinds of ice cream flavors available in popsicles, waffle cones and coffee floats. Flavours were not overly original but all were lighter in texture and solid flavours. 9/10

Ambiance: Staff were very nice, but there was a bit of a wait. 9/10

Cone/ Presentation: Very nice presentation on the flight (As seen to right). Dad said that this a craft beer thing. You got to sample smaller scoops of four different flavours. The plate was even chilled so the ice cream did not melt. The cone was not too sweet, but good. 10/10

Location: In Fan Tan Alley, very cool. Dad was complaining about lack of parking. 9/10
